As an ambassador of Christ to the workplace and a business strategist with 30+ years of diverse experience, Dr. Joy Dahl bridges the gap between faith and work through leadership training and workplace workshops. Her expertise in developing effective strategies and removing barriers for organizational expansion and transition has provided a strong foundation for empowering people to integrate their faith and work in practical ways. Joy helps leaders at all levels embrace their workplace calling so they can GROW. THRIVE. IMPACT.
Joy works bi-vocationally as Vice President of Financial Services for East-West Ministries International, a global organization operating in 44 countries, and she serves as a speaker, teacher, author, and dedicated advocate for “faith and work integration” through her platform JoyDahl.com. Joy also sits on the Board of Directors of Made to Flourish which empowers pastors and their churches to integrate faith, work, and economic wisdom for the flourishing of their communities. Joy earned three degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary: Master of Christian Education, Master of Biblical Studies, and Doctor of Ministry.
Joy’s passions include mentoring and leading professional development initiatives with a faith-forward perspective. Her collaborative mindset helped launch the Boldly Conference in 2021––the first-of-its-kind Faith+Work for Women conference. Joy and her husband, Gordon, live in Dallas, TX with their beloved rescue pups. Her favorite things include: God’s Word, international adventure, horses, flowers, big dogs, dark chocolate, and beach getaways.
